Chapter 1 General Provisions
Article 1 Purpose
This Domain Name Service Terms and Conditions (hereinafter, referred to as the “Domain Name Terms and Conditions”, “Terms and Conditions” or “Agreement”) set forth the rights, obligations and responsibilities or other necessary matters between a member (hereinafter, referred to as the “Member”, “User”, “Domain Name Registrant” or “Registrant”) and innogs Korea Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, referred to as the “Company”) with respect to Domain Name Service (hereinafter, referred to as the “Service” or “Domain Name Service”) provided by Compan.
Article 2 Validity and Changes to Terms of Use
- ①These Terms and Conditions are made of effective when Members, who wish to use Domain Name Service, agree to this Agreement, and it is considered that the Members acknowledged that has read and agreed this Agreement when the members check for “I Agree” on website. These Terms and Conditions will be applied to the Members from the time when the Members agree to this Agreement, if these Terms and Conditions are modified, such changes will be applied from the effective date in accordance with the Section 2 below.
- ②Company may modify this Agreement as it deems necessary. In the event where the Company wishes to modify Agreement, the modified contents and effective date must be announced on the homepage prior to 7 days of the effective date. If the modified contents are considered as giving disadvantages to users, this announcement must be made prior to 30 days of the effective date on homepage or via email address registered in the user’s account. Modified Agreement will become effective from the date when it was announced or notified.
- ③Members reserve the right to reject the changed Agreement. Any Member who has an objection on the changed Agreement may stop using Service and withdraw membership. If Members continue to use Service after the changed Agreement becomes effective, then the Members are deemed to accept the changed Agreement.
- ④Agreement to these Terms and Conditions shall mean agreement to visit Company’s homepage periodically to check any updates of these Terms and Conditions. Therefore, Company is not liable for any losses of Members that may arise because users were not aware of the changed Terms and Conditions.
Article 3 Other Regulations
- ①Company may have separate management policies or regulations for service maintenance and membership, and Members must comply with those policies and regulations.
- ②All the matters related with payment and coins are subject to “Payment and Coin Terms and Conditions”. Any other materials or descriptions, which are specified in these Terms and Conditions, shall follow the Terms and Conditions of private service, Company policy and the related Act and subordinate statute.
- ③Other matters, which are not specified in these Terms and Conditions, shall follow the laws regarding the Telecommunications Basic Act, Telecommunications Business Act, the promotion of Communication Network Use or regulations of other related statutes.
Article 4 Privacy Policy
- ①The regulations regarding to the personal information protection of members or domain name registrant follows the ‘Privacy Policy’ that Company determined separately.
- ②In case of registering gTLDs and ccTLDs, the data regarding to the Registrant’s personal information will be stored by Company, not consign to Escrow company. Company protects the rights and interests of the Registrant, and never uses the personal information for its profit.
Article 5 Definitions

①The definitions of terms used in this Agreement are as follows.
- 1.Domain Name: refers to an individual website address on the internet (URL) identified with a combination of dots(.), characters, numbers and symbols;
- 2.Applicant: refers to a person who applied Domain Name registration to Company;
- 3.Registrant: refers to a person who registered Domain Name through Company;
- 4.Member: refers to a person or a corporation who uses Service by making a contract with Company;
- 5.Registration: refers to registration of Domain Name and Registrant information on the Company’s or registered business operator’s database by paying a registration fee through the payment method provided by Company;
- 6.Registrant Information: refers to such information as Registrant, Administrative, Technical, Billing or Name Servers registered when registering Domain Name;
- 7.Maintenance Fee (or Renewal Fee): refers to maintenance fee for the use of Domain Name and additional services;
- 8.Registered Business Operator: refers to a person who manages all the domain registration businesses for each domain type and operates Root Name Server for each domain to make domain names to be exist;

9.ICANN (Internet Corporation For Assigned Names and Numbers): refers to a nonprofit international organization which manages internet address system and controls policies, creation and IP address for international, country and multi-language domains;
- 10.Registrar: refers to an ICANN-accredited general top level domain registration agency and other country top level domain agency including .KR domain;
- 11.gTLD: refers to Generic top-level domain. HydraDNS provides .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .name and .mobi as gTLDs;
- 12.ccTLD: refers to Country Code Top-Level Domain, and is an Internet top-level domain generally used or reserved for a country, sovereign state, or dependent territory identified with a country code. HydraDNS provides .co, .tv, .cc, .in and .sx as ccTLDs;
- 13.Privacy Protection: refers to an information protect service to show Company’s contact details instead of the domain name’s real registrant contact details when searching the domain name (Whois Lookup).
- ②The definitions of terms used in this Agreement shall be subject to the applicable laws and regulations and business practices, except as defined in the Section 1.
Article 6 Conclusion of Service Use Agreement
This service use agreement shall be concluded when an Applicant agrees to these Terms and Conditions and registers a domain name via the payment method Company determines.
Article 7 Change and Suspension of Service

①In any of following events, Company can temporarily suspend or change provision of the service in whole or in part. In such case, Company shall give advance or subsequent notification to Members of such fact, via e-mail, etc. This may be substituted with posting on the Website or service page operated by Company.
- 1.If it is inevitable due to construction such as maintenance of facilities or if a key telecommunications service provider defined in the Telecommunications Business Act has suspended its telecommunication service;
- 2.If service cannot be used properly due to state of national emergency, power outage, difficulties of service facilities or congestion of service use;
- 3.If there is any change in ICANN’s policy or registered business operator’s service has been suspended;
- 4.If Domain Name is used for any illegal purpose, such as internet fraud, sending mass spam mail, etc.
- ②Company is not liable for any loss incurred to the Applicant by domain registration delay caused by Section 1, except when it is caused by Company’s fault or intention.
Chapter 2 Domain Name Service
Article 8 Domain Name Registration
- ①Application for Domain Name registration shall be made when the Applicant enters all the required information from HydraDNS's domain name registration page and submits them.
- ②Domain Name Registration is processed on a first come, first served basis in principal.
- ③Applicant shall be fully aware of these Terms and Conditions and the limitations on the liability of Company specified in connection with Application for Domain Name Registration.
- ④When registering domain name, all the registrant information of the domain name will be substituted and registered to Company's information to prevent the risk of opened information abuse, such as spam mail, domain name stealing, etc., and for the convenience of registration service use and for the operational convenience.
- ⑤Regarding to fulfil Section 4 above, domain name's registration information is no more than replacement to Company's information. All the responsibilities and operation of domain name are on the registrant.
- ⑥When the registration request from Section 1 and the Applicant’s payment history is confirmed, Company shall take all the required steps for the domain name registration within Company’s operation time on that payment day, on behalf of the Applicant. However, in case of taking more time than the time on the domain name registration policy, it shall be an exception.
- ⑦Registrant can register a Domain Name through Internet Service Provider (ISP) or an agent (Applicant), and in such case, Registrant shall also be deemed to consent to these Terms and Conditions and Domain Dispute Resolution Policy. In such a case, the Registrant gave domain name's administrative ID to another person so Company has no liability on any loss arising thereof.
- ⑧Registration and renewal of ccTLDs shall be accordance with the country's related applicable laws and the decisions of court and all the applicable policies the domain registered business operator established and dispute resolution policy. The registration time, related documents, etc. specified when registering a domain name can be changed by the country’s communication problem or other matters.
Article 9 Payment
- ①Payment for Domain Name Service requires HydraDNS account.
- ②Payment for Domain Name Service can be made through payment methods provided by Company, including credit card, virtual bank account transfer and Coin. However, if there is any payment gateway such as Inicis and PayPal, Members shall complete the procedures set forth by such operator before use of payment system. When any Member pays for the Company’s Paid Service, it is considered that such Member has completed procedures set forth by such operator and agreed to its terms of use.
- ③Payment can be cancelled even after the payment has been completed if the registered domain name belongs to one of cases in Article 10, and Company returns the cancelled amount through the refund methods defined by Company within 3 business days (refer to Payment and Coin Terms and Conditions).
Article 10 Limitations of Registration Application

①Company restricts the registration request if the requested domain name belongs to the followings:
- 1.If the applicant omitted a mandatory field or attached documents required for Domain Name registration;
- 2.If the applicant applies to register a domain name that another person has already been registered;
- 3.If the domain name is on pending registration;
- 4.If it doesn't correspond to the registration qualifications of the domain name type;
- 5.If the applicant doesn't have an address in the country where is one of the registration qualifications to register the ccTLD;
- 6.If the domain has been publicly noticed in advance for domain name's secure management and the public good.
Article 11 Maintenance of Registrant Information
- ①Registrant shall maintain domain name registration information to be accurate and latest;
- ②Registrant is solely responsible for any disadvantages arising out of carelessness in maintenance of domain name registration information, Company does not assume any responsibility.
- ③Domain name shall be used only for legal purposes. Service can be limited and sanctions may be taken against it, if domain name is used for bulk advertising mailing, internet fraud using domain, etc.
Article 12 Change of Registrant Information
- ①If a registrant wants to change domain name’s registration information, the registrant must provide required information for the change and perform the procedures required by Company in HydraDNS account.
- ②If Company receives a request to change domain name registration information, Company shall apply such request and notify the result to the e-mail address of domain name registrant or administrative, or make it possible to check the result in the Member’s HydraDNS account.
Article 13 Consent to the Ownership and Use of Information
- ①Registrant agrees that Company retains all the information created from the domain name's registration information.
- ②Company or Registry Administrator reserves the right to backup, copy, disclose, use, sell or modify data for provision of Service.
Article 14 Renewal
- ①The responsibility of confirming domain name's service term and the renewal is on the registrant, and Company takes no responsibility for any disadvantage from the domain name's suspension of use, deletion, etc. arising out of non-performance thereof.
- ②When the expiry date of domain name is imminent, Company can send an email to the domain name's registrant or the administrative to inform that the domain name is expiring and it is recommended to renew it.
- ③Domain name renewal is only available before the expiry date or during the Renewal Grace Period differently provided for each TLD.
- ④After the expiry date or Renewal Grace Period, the domain name is slip into Redemption Grace Period according to each TLD, and restoration fee will be charged to continue to use the domain name. The domain names, which have no Redemption Grace Period or after the Redemption Grace Period, are automatically deleted and no longer available to use.
- ⑤There's no Money Back Grace Period for domain name renewal, and the fee paid for renewal request is non-refundable.
Article 15 Right to Domain Name that has expired
- ①If domain name is expired, the domain name is suspended to use and Company reserves the right on the domain name disposal. However, for the registrant's right protection, there is at least 25 days of a grace period before the domain name's disposal, after the expiry.
- ②In case that a registrant renewed domain name after the expiry date, Company can grant the right to use and retain domain name to the registrant.
Article 16 Deletion of Registration
- ①Company can delete registered Domain Name if:
- 1.if Company suspends domain name on the following day when the domain name's registration information is discovered as false, and the delete reason is not solved until 15 days passed no matter of holidays, after the suspension;
- 2.if it is acknowledged that the domain name is against common laws, public orders and customs;
- 3.if the domain name infringes the rights of another person’s trademark, etc. or it is judged so by a court of law;
- 4.if the payment to maintain the domain name is not completed until the expiry date, Renewal Grace Period, or Redemption Grace Period;
- 5.if it is confirmed that the registrant has not complied with the registration condition, registration qualification, or registration standard of "Domain Name Management Regulations" defined by the registered business operator for each domain name.
- 6.if the full amount of domain registration fee is not paid by the expiration date; But, for .KR and .한국 domain names, if the full amount of registration fee is not paid until the 30th day from the expiration date regardless of holidays, HydraDNS or .KR and .한국 domain registrar deletes the domain name.
- 7.if .KR and .한국 domain registrar recognizes that the registrant doesn't comply with the registration terms of "Domain Name Management Regulations", and the registration qualification registration standards (Appendix 1);
- 8.if it is found that the registration information of .KR and .한국 domain names is fault, it is unable to receive a registered mail to the registered address for .KR and .한국 domain names, or it is unable to receive an email address of the administrator for the .KR and .한국 domain names; In such case, registration management fee for the remaining period is not refunded.
- ②When deleting domain name according to each provision in preceding paragraph, the domain name has suspended for 15 days regardless holidays.
- ③If Company would like to delete the request for domain name registration according to the provision in Section 1, Company must notify the specifying reason to the registrant or administrative via email.
- ④If Company deletes domain name under the provision in Section 1, the amount for the remaining period is not refunded. However, in case that the fee needs to be returned due to judgement of the court, government's order, other legal issues, etc., Company takes the responsibility only corresponding to the amount that the registrant paid to Company.
- ⑤If domain name delete reason is solved during the suspension period by the provision under Section 2, the suspension is cancelled and the domain name is not deleted.
- ⑥If there's an objection on domain name's registration information, Company confirms if the information is real or not and can delete the domain name. The subjects to be confirmed are as below:
- 1.In case that existence of the registrant is unable to be confirmed with name, registration certificate and registration number;
- 2.In case that a registered mail is unable to be received with address;
- 3.In case that an email is unable to be received with the administrative email address.
- ⑦Domain name can be deleted upon request from the registrant. However, deletion fee will be charged, and Company doesn't return the amount the registrant paid for the domain name registration.
- ⑧Company doesn't accept the request for domain name delete in case of followings:
- 1.If dispute conciliation procedure of the domain name is held;
- 2.If a dispute regarding to domain name is pending in a court;
- 3.If a request for domain name transfer is submitted.
- ⑨Domain names can be restricted in use and cancelled if .KR and .한국 domain registrant requests it.
- 1.If registrant requests for domain cancellation, HydraDNS confirms the request's accuracy via the registrant's email address and then HydraDNS or .KR and .한국 domain registrar can cancel the domain name requested.
- 2..KR and .한국 domain registrar suspends the domain name a day after the cancellation request is arrived to the .KR and .한국 domain registrar, and cancels the domain name on the 30th day from the suspension. But, in some cases that if dispute conciliation procedure is begun, dispute regarding to domain name is pending in court, or a request for domain transfer has been submitted, the domain name cannot be cancelled. And, in case of paying for the registration management fee in the use suspension period, the use suspension is cancelled and the expiration date for use is renewed by counting from the suspension date.
- 3.If registered domain names are cancelled after more than 8 days has been passed, the registration fee is calculated by number of days and it can be refunded after deducting optional service fee and all other fees. But, the registration fee for a year from the registration date is not refunded.
- 4.In case of cancelling transferred domain name, it is refunded calculating by number of days within the range of the transfer fee. But, the fee for the first year from the registration date is not refunded.
- ⑩The use suspension and cancellation (delete) period of .KR and .한국 domain names has been determined by domain registrar's policy.
- 1.Use suspension is progressed between 2 and 3 o'clock in the morning on the day of suspension, and cancellation (delete) is progressed unspecified between 9 and 10 o'clock in the morning on the cancellation (delete) day.
- 2.Domain registrar is able to change .KR and .한국 domain names' use suspension and cancellation time for the stable domain management and the public good.
Article 17 Cancellation of Registration
- ①After registration, some domain names can be cancelled and some cannot. A registrant can request for registration cancellation within the Money Back Grace Period designated for each TLD, and Company refunds the whole amount of registration fee the registrant paid in the refund methods Company determines (refer to Payment and Coin Terms and Conditions).
- ②In case of cancelling domain name after the Money Back Grace Period for each TLD, the registrant must request for domain name delete, and Company doesn’t refund the domain registration fee the registrant paid. However, for .KR and .한국 domain names, the following regulations are governed.
- 1.If .KR and .한국 domain registrant would like to cancel domain name registration, the domain delete request is acceptable only when the request is legitimate. The optional service fees and all other fees are deducted from the registration fee that refunded from .KR and .한국 domain registrar.
- 2.If .KR and .한국 domain registrant requests for registration cancellation within 7 days including holidays, from the registration date, the whole amount will be refunded.
- 3.If .KR and .한국 domain registrant renews the domain names within 5 days after the registration, the domain names cannot be deleted and refunded.
- ③Registration cancellation of domain name is not available if:
- 1.if the registration cancellation period is passed due to incomplete or missing of domain name registration request and required documents;
- 2.if the registration cancellation period is passed although the domain name registration request and required documents are submitted to Company;
- 3.if the registration cancellation period is passed because the request is submitted after Company's business hours or during the time when normal business activity is not available (e.g. national holiday);
- 4.if it is a domain name that registration cancellation service is not supported.
Article 18 Move Domain Name
- ①In case that a registrant wishes to move the ownership of the registrant's domain name to someone else in the same Registrar through Company, the registrant must request to move the domain name in HydraDNS accoun.
- ②If the registrant requests to move a domain name under the process of the Section 1, Company compares and confirms the transferor's information and Company database information, decides whether to accept the request, and then sends the result to the transferor's and transferee's email address that they registered for the domain move.
- ③Company can, at its sole discretion, move the ownership of domain name, if:
- 1.if it is approved by the registrant or an agent of the registrant;
- 2.if it is approved by the Member;
- 3.if it is requested by a competent court or a law enforcement agency;
- 4.if it is required to fulfil the decision making for domain dispute resolution;
- 5.if a breach of Agreement is occurred;
- 6.if this Agreement becomes terminated;
- 7.if Company discovers that this Agreement will be driven to be terminated or driven to be violated.
- ④Company is not liable for the domain name move that was performed in the situation Company doesn't know, including forged or fraudulent approval.
- ⑤If it is confirmed or deemed that transferee is not suitable to apply these Terms and Conditions, Company can withhold or doesn't progress the application of domain move until such reason is resolved.
- ⑥When a domain name is in the Renewal Grace Period, Redemption Grace Period or Pending Delete, the domain name cannot be moved to another HydraDNS member.
Article 19 Registrar Transfer
- ①Domain Name transfer is available after 60 days since the domain name registration.
- ②For .KR and .한국 domain names, they cannot be transferred after 7 days from the expiration date.
- ③In case of registrar transfer (IN), it can be requested through Company website. However, the transfer request can be rejected if:
- 1.the domain name is in progress of dispute according to dispute resolution policy established by ICANN and registered business operator;
- 2.it is confirmed that a court has requested to restrict to change the registration information of the domain name;
- 3.the owner of the domain name is not clear;
- 4.the domain name is in status that transfer to another registrar is prohibited and the owner is unable to change this status to active in the current registrar;
- 5.the domain name was locked or suspended by the registrant;
- 6.dispute conciliation process is started.
- 7.it is confirmed that Korean court has requested to restrict in changing registration information of .KR and .한국 domain names.
- ④In case of domain name transfer from another registrar to Company (IN), the applicant must pay for the renewal fee to expand the expiry date more than a year.
- ⑤The members/registrants, who want to transfer their domain name to another registrar, must request for the transfer to the new registrar. Company does not charge for the domain name transfer (OUT).
- ⑥Domain names can be transferred from current Registrar to another Registrar pursuant to merger or acquisition between Registrars approved by ICANN or top-level Registrar.
- ⑦In case of registrar contract terminated, the domain names held by the registrar can be transferred to another registrar.
Article 20 Additional Services
- ①Company can provide additional services associated with the domain name for free or chargeable.
- ②Company separately posts on its homepage about information of the additional service's type, price, service term, etc.
- ③Company provides 'Privacy Protection' service as a mandatory additional service in accordance with performing the Section 4, Article 8, and the registrant who applied for domain registration is regarded as agreed to provisions below:
- 1.The registration information of domain name is designated by Company;
- 2.Any email sent to the registrant, administrative, billing or technical contact of domain name, which the registration information is protected, may not be delivered in time. Company does not take any responsibility of this;
- ④Additional services may be provided to specific domains only.
- ⑤Members/registrants must provide accurate contact information to Company without regard to use of the additional service.
- ⑥Company can terminate additional services without member's consent if,
- 1.false information is written in the application form;
- 2.a member/a registrant practices prohibited act or violates the law or the public order and good morals using Company's service;
- 3.Company judges that it may directly or indirectly cause significant hindrance to the facilities used for providing Company's service;
- 4.the domain name using service is cancelled or transferred to another registrar;
- 5.it is in dormant status without using service for certain period of time during using additional service for free.
Chapter 3 Rights and Liabilities of Contract Parties
Article 21 Rights of Company
- ①Company may transfer, move, modify, cancel, reject, suspend, delete or delay domain names, without member's consent, to comply with the domain related policy, terms and request for enforcing law, in the following events:
- 1.In case that the information related with the domain name is not correct or the information is modified or used without Company's consent;
- 2.In case that it is judged as the ownership of the domain name is belong to another registrar;
- 3.In case that it is confirmed or judged that the member/registrant did not comply with the terms, policies and procedures set forth by Company and ICANN;

②In the following events, Company may suspend, delete, reject, cancel, modify or hold domain names without notification or refund while the related dispute is solved:
- 1.if it is judged as the order may violate this Agreement;
- 2.if the order requires to be cancelled due to dispute resolution procedure or another Agreement executing besides this Agreement;
- 3.if it is required to avoid the legal responsibility that Company or Registry may take;
- 4.if a registrant or a representative of the registrant violates legally permitted policies, including but not limited to intellectual property, copyright, patent, phishing (identity theft), pharming (DNS hijacking), virus and malware dispersion, child pornography, use of Fast Flux technology, command or control of botnet operation, hacking, network attack, conspiracy of money laundry (Ponzi, Pyramid, Money Mule, etc.), distribution of illegal medicine and medical supplies;
- 5.if it is judged as the information used for the order is not accurate or faked;
- 6.if it is judged as the ownership of the order is belong to someone else;
- 7.if it is confirmed or judged that a member/a registrant violates the terms, policies or procedures set forth by Company and ICANN;
- 8.if it is required to protect the safety of Company and registry;
- 9.if it is required for the legal procedure.
- ③A Member/a Registrant has no right to claim any legal responsibility of loss or damage, arising out of the events in the previous Section, to Company and registry.
- ④If it is required for service provide, Company may provide domain name's registration information to the following objects:
- 1.Registrant;
- 2.A person who is delegated by the Registrant, including employee, contractor, etc.;
- 3.Customer, reseller, service provider or registry administrator;
- 4.Anyone who uses Whois Lookup.
- ⑤In case that domain name's service term is suspended, expired or the domain name has no valid name servers, Company may set to detour the domain name to parking page or different IP address. In such case, Company is not able to check if the registrant's or other company's intellectual property, right of personal information, trademark, etc. is violated, and doesn't take any legal responsibility arising with related with this.
Article 22 Duty of Company
- ①Company does its best to provide user's convenience and secure service in accordance with what these Terms and Conditions defines.
- ②Company does its best to information security considering administrative and technical safety measures, regarding to personal information including members' information.
- ③In case that Company judges that the complaints and issues from members are right, Company solves the problem in priority. However, if it is not possible to solve the problem quickly, Company notifies the reason and processing schedule to the members immediately.
Article 23 Duty of Registrant
- ①Registrants must comply with the matters defined by this Terms and Conditions and the related laws.
- ②Registrant must agree to all terms and conditions, standards and policies defined by ICANN (http://www.icann.org/en/registrars/registrant-rights- responsibilities-en.htm), which is an administrator of registrar and registry, and follow the required procedures.
- ③Registrants are responsible for being fully aware of domain name's registration term and the payment for its renewal. If registrants don’t pay the renewal fee within the due date, the domain names will be deleted and Company has no responsibility on this.
- ④Registrants shall be solely liable for all the matters in connection with registration and use of domain names, and registrants take full responsibility on the matters if they allowed the domain names’ use to the third party.
- ⑤Registrant shall be fully aware of top-level registrar's domain name related policies, and they have to follow the top-level registrar's policy even though the policy is not defined in this Agreement. Especially, .KR and .한국 domain name registrant must check their policies in registered business operator homepage (http://domain.nic.or.kr) prior to agree with this Agreement.
Chapter 4 Compensation of Damages and Other Matters
Article 24 Dispute Resolution
- ①As a registrar, Company doesn't involve in disputes between registrant and the third party, in any way. In addition, registrants must not drag Company into the dispute procedure, and cannot make an objection to or sue Company.
- ②In case of dispute occurred in connection with domain name's registration and use, it should be solved according to the policies ICANN and registered business operator defined and judgement of court. The policies compose a part of this Agreement, and they are as follows:
- 1.Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) established by ICANN;
- 2.BIZ domains: 'Start-up Trademark Opposition Policy (STOP)' and 'Restrictions Dispute Resolution Policy (RDRP)’;
- 3.INFO domains: 'Sunrise Dispute Resolution Policy (SDRP);
- 4.NAME domains: 'Eligibility Requirements Dispute Resolution Policy (ERDRP)' established by ICANN;
- 5..KR, and .한국 domains: Internet Address Resources Act and Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy;
- 6.Global country domains: each NIC(Network Information Center)’s dispute resolution policy;
- 7.Other general top level domains (gTLDs) and country code top level domains (ccTLDs): dispute resolution policy established by the domain name’s Registration Business Operator.
- ③Regarding to the domain names that dispute resolution procedure is started, the change of registrant and registrar is restricted.
- ④Company takes an action according to the settled result in case that dispute resolution service providing organization's mediation decision, judgement of the court and arbitral award are settled.
- ⑤Company is not liable for any matter whatsoever in taking actions in the procedure and result of dispute conciliation except for its willful wrongdoing. If any compensation for losses incurred by Registrant is claimed, the extent of such claim shall be limited within the Domain Name Registration fee.
- ⑥Company may change its dispute conciliation policy at any time when it is deemed necessary upon its own policy, or subject to a change in international internet policy. In such case, the revised dispute conciliation policy will be applied even for the domain name applied or registered before the change, except the domain name disputing at the time of such change.
- ⑦If any dispute arises related with .KR or .한국 domain name registration or use, it can be applied mediation based on the Act of Internet Address Resource or Domain Name Dispute Conciliation Regulations or sue to the competent court.
Article 25 Compensation
- ①If any Domain Registration, Renewal or Transfer is not processed due to Company’s fault, Company shall refund the Domain Registration, Renewal or Transfer fee the member paid for.
- ②If paid service is not operated properly due to Company's negligence, Company may compensate up to maximum three times the amount calculated the number of days for the service fee in the year. The number of days for the service fee is calculated from the time when Company was notified from members about service failure to the time when Company makes the service back to normal.
- ③In case of processing refund, members take the responsibility on the part arisen due to the member's negligence.
Article 26 Indemnification of Company
- ①Company, registered business operator and ICANN are not liable for the provision of Service, if Company is unable to provide service due to natural disaster, force majeure or Act of God, illegal external intrusion, attack or other reasons related to force majeure.
- ②Company, registered business operator and ICANN are not liable for any damage caused by the expected profit by using the service, or by the materials received through the service.
- ③Company, registered business operator and ICANN are not liable for any damage that may arise out of using free Service.
- ④Company, registered business operator and ICANN are not liable for any disruption of service use due to a reason attributable to members.
- ⑤Company, registered business operator and ICANN are not liable for any damage arising out of an unavoidable reason, such as prior notified maintenance, replacement, regular inspection or construction of facilities for service.
- ⑥Company, registered business operator and ICANN are not liable for registrant or the third party about infringement of other person's right, unfair business practice or unfair competition arises in connection with the member's domain name application, registration or use.
- ⑦If there is any change in policy of the top-level management agency, Company may execute this without any notice.
- ⑧The member has the responsibility of any issue caused by that member or registrant didn't notify the changed registration information to Company.
- ⑨If a registered domain name infringes upon other person's rights including trademark, the Registrant takes full responsibility, and Company, registered business operator and ICANN doesn't take any responsibility on such infringement.
Article 27 Miscellaneous
Domain name's registration conditions, that Company provides except .KR and .한국, and the registration conditions for evidential documents required for registration, registration data provisions, domain name dispute policy and privacy protection service shall follow the Agreement between domain name registrant and registrar, displayed on

This Agreement comes into effect from 13 August 2019.
